Niels Bruynseels speeds to Grand Prix victory on home ground

The highlight of a busy international weekend has just been ridden in Lier: the CSI2* Grand Prix. The victory remained in Belgium: Niels Bruynseels was the fastest of eleven jump-off-riders.

Bruynseels counted on Kopernic van Orti (f. Diamant de Semilly) to clear the jump-off in 41,71 seconds. With this time, he was almost a second faster then the Dutch rider Kevin Jochems who ended on second place. He saddled the 14-year old KWPN mare Bo (f. Labor's VDL Indorado) to jump a clear round in 42,60 seconds. Toshiki Masui and Jericho S (f. Lord Z) completed the podium after a clear jump-off in 44,09 seconds.

Hani Ibrahim Bisharat and Blushin (f. Epsom Gesmeray) ended on fourth place. They kept the zero on the score board and finished in 44,85 seconds. Dominique Hendrickx (Bacardi Les Hauts) completed the top five.
