Philipp Schulze Topphoff on top in Leipzig Ranking class

In a moment the second leg of the FEI Worldcup finals jumping is programmed in Leipzig. It was Germany's Philipp Schulze Topphoff who held Jos Verlooy and Mel Thijssen from victory in the 1.50m Longines Ranking.

Together with the 9-year-oldCarla (Comme Il Faut) the German showjumping rider, Philipp Schulze Topphoff jumped to glory in 56.70 seconds. The pair was only about 0,1 seconds faster as reigning Belgian champion, Jos Verlooy aboard FTS Killossery Konfusion (Siec Livello).

With over a second difference Dutch female showjumper, Mel Thijssen completed the stage aboard Abdel Said's 12-year-old KWPN-mare, Florida Balia NL. Thijssen and the mare by Bustique referred local showjumper, Rene Dittmer to a fourth place.

Dittmer placed outside the stage with his Burlington Riverland (Mylord Carthago*HN) while John Whitaker and the 13-year-old SF-gelding, Sharid (Toulon) completed the top five.
