Today the Nations Cup Qualifier event was scheduled in Doha, counting as an Olympic Qualifier for Africa and the Middle East. The best two teams over the two rounds have a ticket for Paris 2024.
Over two rounds it were Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates who claimed a ticket for the Olympics. Saudia Arabia jumped to victory under the coaching of David Will.
For the team Abdullah Alsharbatly and his 15-year-old Alamo were the only to set a double clear. Khaled Almobty and the 11-year-old Spacecake (Stakkatol) had one clear round. They formed a team together with Abdulrahman Alrajhi aboard Babalou HD (Balous Bellini) and Ramzy Al Duhami aboard Untouchable (Van Helsing).
Met een totaal van 15 punten verwees het team de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten naar de tweede plaats (25 punten). Voor de VAE kwamen Abdullah Mohd Al Marri met de Belgische James vd Oude Heihoef (Douglas), Abdullah Humaid AL Muhairi met Chacolu (Chaccomo), Omar Abdul Aziz Al Mazooqi met Dalida van de Zuuthoeve (Thunder vd Zuuthoeve) en Mohammed Ghanem Al Hajri in het zadel van G's Fabian (Gaillard de la Pomme) aan de start.
De derde plaats kwam op naam van Egypte.
