Victor Bettendorf wins the 4* 1m55 Grand Prix of Bourg-en-Bresse

In Bourg-en-Bresse, France, the highlight of the week was just completed. Of course we're talking about the 4* 1m55 Grand Prix. Staying clear in the challenging first round proved to be difficult enough as only seven participants eventually succeeded in this. The combinations that were able to advance to the jump-off were of course eager to win and so it was very competitive. In the end, Victor Bettendorf made sure that Luxembourg took the win.

For this GP Victor Bettendorf chose Mr. Tac (v. Toulon). They didn't waste any time and flew over the fences in a time of 33,29 seconds. Nobody was able to come near to that time and that's how they won this Grand Prix in a very convincing way.

The French Juliette Faligot came pretty close to winning though. With Arqana de Riverland (v. Cornet Obolensky) she finished in 34,27 seconds and that was good enough for the second place. She stayed ahead of her fellow countryman Benoit Cernin, who finished in third place with Deuxcatsix d'Eglefin (v. Vigo Cece).

Dominique Hendrickx made Belgium proud. In the saddle of Floris TN (v. Quality Time Tn) he was fast and clear, claiming the fourth place. The fifth place was for Belgium as well thanks to Gudrun Patteet and Sea Coast Guinness (v. Nabab de Reve). She was even a bit faster than her fellow countryman, but because of a fault they ended one place lower.
