The Swedish rider Henrik von Eckerman and the Swiss Janika Sprunger will be moving to the Netherlands soon. The Swedish rider announced the news himself on social media.
"After a year of planning, our dream of building a home in the Netherlands finally came true", Von Eckermann says. "We will soon start building and we're really looking forward to it. The Netherlands is a central country for the jumping sport, which makes us moving even more perfect. We've been thinking about this for a year now but we didn't want to by this land from Emile Hendrix before our plans got approved. If everything happens according to plan, the construction will start in four weeks", he adds.
The Swedish rider and his fiancee have been living in Germany until now.
