World Cup Finals canceled for a second year in a row

The FEI just decided to extend the shutdown of all international shows until 11 April. This means that the Wolrd Cup Finals in Gothenburg won't be able to take place.

They were supposed to take place from 31 March to 4 April, but the spread of EHV-1 has caused a cancellation.

Last year the organization also had to cancel the show because of the ongoing corona pandemic.

'It's, of course, a very sad message to receive, but the welfare of the horses must always come first', event director Thomas Torgersen says.
