World champion Harm Lahde moves to Müter family

Harm Lahde said at the press conference after winning the world title in the 7-year-olds' competition that it might be his last competition with 'Just A Dream'. When asked what his plans for the future were, he could not or could not answer that yet. Until today: it became known that the brand new world champion will leave Gestüt Eichenhain for the Müter family.

To make things easier for him, the Müter family took over his current top horse, Commander Bond, along with other horses. Harm Lahde could hardly have found a better address, as the Müter family has been tirelessly promoting talented young riders for years. Finja Bormann, Lahde's girlfriend, also works for the Müter family. "We had wanted to live together for a while and now there was a proposal that I could not refuse," says Lahde.

As an outstanding trainer of young horses, Harm Lahde has brought Oak Grove's Carlyle and Oak Grove's Laith, among others, into the big sport. Oak Grove's Carlyle has just had success with Daniel Coyle at Spruce Meadows.
