Yuri Mansur speeds to morning win in Miami

Tonight excitement will reign at Miami Beach as the 1.60m Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix is set to take place. This morning the CSI5* combinations battled it out in the 1.50m Longines Ranking class. In it, Brazil's Yuri Mansur speeded to victory aboard his 10-year-old Chacco-Blue-mare, Miss Blue Mystic Rose.

In this 1.50m class Mansur and his 10-year-old mare jumped to victory with over one second difference. Spain's Eduardo Alvarez Aznar, who won the Global Champions League yesterday with Madrid in Motion, followed as runner-up. Aznar and D'Orient Batilly (Numero Uno) advanced on Germany's Christian Ahlmann.

Ahlmann completed the stage aboard the 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding, Mandato van de Neerheide.

Compatriot, Daniel Deusser followed in a fourth place with his Bingo Ste Hermelle (Number One d'Iso). In front of her home crowd,  USA's Laura Kraut completed the top five with the 11-year-old SF-gelding,  Calgary Tame (Old Chap Tame).
