Catherine Laudrup-Dufour sells Wildcard to German Junior Rider

Wildcard (by Wynton), Catherine Laudrup-Dufour's own gelding finds his new stable with a German Junior Rider. Mai Stössel will take over the reins of Dufour's chestnut, who trained him herself to Grand Prix level.

The chestnut-colored gelding enjoyed his training under Lee and Anne Blomgren. Dufour welcomed the now 10-year-old Wildcard to her stables as a five-year-old, where he was seen as a "mini-Cassidy. Despite being in Dufour's stable for five years, the gelding was not often brought out by her in competition.

But the charming chestnut is moving to the stables of Mai Stössel. The German Junior Rider already speaks clear language about her goals: "The goal is to participate in Preis der Besten and the German Youth Championships. Wildcard has been at the stables here for a week now so first we are going to get to know each other a little better."
