Verdiamo was born in Jordy Van Massenhove's stable. "He is the first and last horse I ever bred myself," Van Massenhove laughs in a comment. "Me and my father bred him, afterwards I trained him. About a year ago Geir Gulliksen bought him from me while I could stay in the saddle."
But the time has come to say goodbye as German rider, Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmerman will take over the gelding's reins. Under Van Massenhove, Verdiamo jumped together over 34,000 euros with four international wins and a total of seven podium placings.
"I would like to thank Geir and Victoria Gulliksen for allowing me to experience more than one more year of beautiful memories with him," he said.
