Oak Grove's Carlyle moves to U25-rider Alexander Alston

Oak Grove's Carlyle (by Casall) is getting a new rider. Daniel Coyle says goodbye to the 15-year-old gelding and passes the reins to American U25 rider, Alexander Alston.

"Over the last two years, this horse has been such a worker!", Coyle starts his goodbye. "Oak Grove's Carlyle Oak Grove’s Carlyle has earned wins all over the world and found a special place in the Lothlorien Farm string."

The Irish rider formed a duo with the now 15-year-old gelding since the summer of 2021 and built up quite a record with them. Together they won at prestigious competitions including a victory at the CSI5* Grand Prix of Rotterdam last summer. Before Coyle, Oak Grove's Carlyle had Jeroen Dubbeldam (NED) in the saddle but Rolf-Göran Bengtsson also competed with him earlier in his life.

"Thank you to Jeroen Dubbeldam and Ariel Grange for giving me the opportunity to ride him. Wishing all the best to new owner, U25 rider Alex Alston", Coyle ends his message.
