Ingrid Klimke stays ahead of the pack in Wiesbaden
With a brilliant ride in the cross country Ingrid Klimke just finished up what was an unstoppable ride around the 3*** Eventing course at the 80st Wiesbaden Pfingsturnier. Leading from the start the German top Eventer from Münster she did nog give away the lead during showjumping and today cross-country.

With "team-mates"  Julia Krajewski and Andreas Ostholt in pursuit Klimke could not afford any mistakes with Horseware Hale-Bo on todays ride. When both Ostholt and Krajewski performed amazing in their rides around the park it left Klimke having to ride a clear round with a margin of just 9 seconds over time. And with Wiesbaden being known for its tricky and bendy course this was not a walk in the park. However  Klimke showed her excellence by just adding 5.2 time penalties to her dressage score of  27.30 penalties to cling on to the lead by a margin of 5.10 penalties over  Krajewski, who rode Chipmunk FRH to a second place in a score of 37.60 penalties.

Andreas Ostholt and Pennsylvania 28, who were ranked ninth after dressage,  secured a third spot by keeping their cool in the rainy showjumping yesterday and absolutely flying around the cross-country today ending on a score of  42.10 penalties.
