The CSI4* 1m45 Speed and Handiness class of A Coruña, Spain had a head-to-head battle between local riders Sergio Alvarez Moya and Eduardo Alvarez Aznar. In this four-star class, jumping faults were added to the time of the combinations.
Sergio Alvarez Moya had saddled the 9-year-old Queen (Carrera VDL) to take the win. He managed to stay ahead of compatriot Eduardo Alvarez Aznar and the Numero Uno offspring D'Orient Batilly. A fast ride under Abdullah Alsharbatly earned the sBs gelding Fiumicino van de Kalevallei (Plot Blue) third place.
With the stallion Obama de La Liniere, a son of Marius Claudius from the breeding of Jeroen Lissens, the second youngest member of the Philippaerts family, Thibault was good for fourth place.
