Despite his young age, Pål Flam has already made his mark in the equestrian world. His top horse Skjerabergs Larkin, was sold last year during the Kingsland Oslo horse show, like many other norwegian top horses with good results in Grand Prix. - It would have been nice to have a sponsor, so that i wouldent have to sell my horses when they are on top, says Flam who was lucky to get Skjerabergs Larkin back. Flam represents Arendal & Grimstad equestrian club and lives at his familys facility, Stable GP which is just yards away from the club. He grew up in a horse family with mum who is responseble for organization and finances and dad Peter as coach. Both brothers Emil and Mikkel are also active in the sport. - I started competing at the age of seven. But i have also done other kind of sports like football and athletics, he smiles Flam says he is incredibly gratefull for his team. In 2014 he was part of the team that won the silver medals in the European championship. He then tell’s us that his goal is to acquire more experience in major competitions, and therby raise the stakes to keep his good horses. - Im very pleased with the owers of my horses, they call and congratulate me when i do well, and dont if its the other way around, he laughs. –Three positive horseowners makes everything much easier. I have so much fun doing this, and that is my motivation. I love traveling around at different competitions, and im so happy to get to ride such fine horses, he concludes
