In Calgary Canada dominated the second international day of the Royal West competition. Laura Jane Tiball and the 12 year old Prim' de Lairaud (by Herlevent de Breka) did a great job finishing their jump-off in 40.95 seconds. Keeping the wood untouched the pair was a brief moment in the lead but eventually returned home with a fourth place. Aboard Liam (by Ikoon) the show jumper finished almost a second faster taking in the third place. A total of 9 pairs returned for the jump-off. Fastest time was set by Keean White and the 11 year old Canadian River-daughter, Carrera van het Westleven Z. The pair finished clear in 38.32 seconds. Compatriot Ali Ramsay followed in a second place riding Hermelien vd Hooghoeve (by Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve). Stopping the time in 38.83 seconds they came close, but slowed down in their way to the last fence. Organizer John Anderson and Granit S (by Faust Z) were satisfied with a 9th place.
