This weekend Ludger Beerbaum welcomes the international show jumping riders during the Riesenbeck International. Many top riders will take the start. Current World and European Champion, Jeroen Dubbeldam will battle it out against former Olympic Champion, Steve Guerdat and host and living legend, Ludger Beerbaum. Also Ludger Beerbaum's home-rider, Christian Kukuk will make his comeback. In July, Kukuk got injured after a fall at the CHIO in Aachen on the water fence. Together with Carilot (by Carinue), Kukuk fell on the fence and broke his shoulder. This incident was the cause on reviving the discussion for banning the water fence. After his fall, Kukuk announced he would be 'out' for a while. Now the rider will appear again after three months, on his "own" competition.
