The Spanish dressage talent, Morgan Barbancon Mester, fell of her horse yesterday and got injured. Barbancon rode her Gribaldi-mare, Girasol, when the accident happened. Barbancon got dragged over the concrete for a long distance and now suffers from several burns. Barbancon was riding at the Es Fangar-accomodation in Mallorca, where she competes at the Balearen Tour. Besides the third-degree burns at her back, the Spanish rider also has a sprained finger during of the accident. Her horse, Girasol was unharmed. Girasol stumbled on the concrete falling on her rider. When the horse tried to get up, Barbancon still had her foot in the stirrup. Girasol dragged Morgan for 100 meters, but didn't step on her rider.
