The French show jumping rider Hubert Bourdy has passed away yesterday, after a long fight against his cancer. Bourdy was one of the big show jumping riders in France. In 2009 he decided to stop his sportive career at the age of 57 years old. Bourdy collected to Bronze Olympic team medals (Barcelona 1992 and Seoul 1988), a gold team medal and individual bronze medal in Stockholm 1990 and a team bronze medal at the European Championships in Gijon in 1993. Earlier this year already the 45-years-old Stephan Delaveau passed away. With Bourdy France has to say goodbye to yet another great show jumper.
