The Belgian Warmblood Studbook has approved some new sites. After the honouring of the new stallions, some special titels were handed-out. A total of three stallions returned in the arena, hoping to return home with the titel "Sieger Stallion of the BWP". Eventually it was Leo Vermeiren's breeding product Naxcel V (Balou du Rouet x Landetto x Lys de Darmen) who received the title. The stallion was presented by Gert Vermeiren and Gerfried Puck. But also people were awarded. The BWP award by KBC puts the spotlight on people that played a significant role the past year. Former board member, Belgium's Georges Van Keerberghen received the title. Van Keerberghen was a board member since 2007 until 2015. Georges reorganised the BWP structure ensuring a new, more modern structure in the Studbook organisation.
