In Wales a 51 year old woman has died after falling off her horse on a beach. The woman was wearing a helmet when she fell. Emergency coastguard and ambulance services were called out to Llangennith beach at about 8.45am on Sunday (27 July). South Wales Police were called at 9.11am and the police helicopter recovered the rider’s body. A spokesman from the police said: “We can confirm the sudden death of a 51-year-old female. The death is not being treated as suspicious. The coroner has been informed.”
