After getting a lot of penalties behind their name, it shows that Johnny Pals and Zarkava Hero Z (v. Zandor Z) aren't in the some top condition as they were in the past GCL shows. Pals and the eleven years old mare were in nearly every final of the Global Champions present but national coach Jos Lansink decided to replace them with Marc Houtzager for the upcoming round and final of the Nations Cup in Barcelona. Together with the ten year old gelding, he will compete for the Netherlands in those two last rounds.
Houtzager already jumped Holy Moley in Barcelona in a 1.45m class were they had 13 penalties. But since Pals started Zarkava Hero Z in another class today, it seemed like Jos Lansink had decided to switch up the Dutch team and call in Houtzager. The national coach has confirmed this.
The Dutch team is currently fifth in the Nations Cup ranking, in which France is leading.
