British riders rule the show in opening class Liverpool

The international show of Liverpool has lift off today with a 1m40 class ridden in two phases. It were merely the British riders who ruled the show.

The victory went to Harriet Nuttall. She rode Night of Glory OL (f. Emerald Van't Ruytershof) to the finish line in 27,63 seconds, leaving the wood untouched. Charlotte Bettendorf ended on second place with Bellefleur Ps Z, a 10-year old Quidam de Revel mare. They cleared the second phase in 27,67 seconds. The third place on the podium went to a British rider as well. Corrine Collins and Bugatti B (f. Madison) jumped a clear round in 30,96 seconds. 

Guy Williams (Cicero II) and Julie Andrews (Madinah) ended on fourth and fifth place.
