The Grand Prix of the dressage riders competing in the World Cup has just been ridden in Mechelen. The victory went to the Dutch rider Emmelie Scholtens. She rode Desperado N.O.P. (f. Vivaldi) to an overall score of 76,478% and got the highest scores from all judges.
The second place went to Charlotte Fry. She rode Dark Legend (f. Zuchhero) , a 11-year old KWPN stallion, to an overall score of 73,870%. Maria Caetano, who won the hearts of the audience of Mechelen last year, ended on third place today. She and Coroado (f. Rubi) rode to 73,674% in total.
Joa Miguem Torrao (Equador) and Morgan Barbancon Mestre (Sir Donnerhall II Old) completed the top five. They scored respectively 72,543 and 72,370%.
