Kevin Jochems wins Indoor Derby The Dutch Masters

Traditions are important, also at The Dutch Masters - Indoor Brabant. The 1.45m Indoor Derby in 's Hertogenbosch, was again an exciting competition with a lot of difficulties to overcome. Eventually it was Dutch show jumping rider, Kevin Jochems who claimed victory aboard his 13-year-old Cornetboy (Cornet's Stern) .

Jochems secured the third Dutch victory in 's Hertogenbosch for this week - so far. On stage he was followed by compatriot Jens van Grunsven with the 9-year-old Idextro (Dexter R), while Maikel van der Vleuten completed the stage with  Edgar (Warrant).

"I am really happy to win in front of my home crowd," says Jochems after his victory. "I am super excited our sport can welcome spectators again and the Rolex Grand Slam on Dutch home turf can go on..."

"I'm only riding this horse for three weeks now and just competed him once before. Hij has a lot of experience and I'm just excited with having him. The plan is to take him with me to Arezzo and maybe after also jumping a bit higher."
