In the 1.50m main class in 's Hertogenbosch it turned out in a jump-off of ten combinations. It seemed a difficult task to do. Pieter Devos was the sixth to start with the 12-year-old son of Contact vd Hefinck, Kannabis van de Bucxtale. Eventually the pair won as only combination finishing faultless.
The winner of Friday, Harrie Smolders and Escape Z followed at the start but didn't seem to top Devos' performance. A lot of risks were taken but eventually Devos was the ultimate winner aboard his black gelding.
The fastest time was set by Dutch home-rider Willem Greve and Highway M TN (Eldorado vd Zeshoek). With one jumping fault the pair placed as runner-up and advanced on compatriot, Marc Houtzager with Holy Moley (Verdi TN).
The French followed as Roger-Yves Bost jumped to the fourth place with Bluemuch Des Baleines (Chacco-Blue) while Kevin Staut completed the top five with Visconti du Telman (Toulon).
