Double H Farm to host Anne's Night on Sept. 13th

With just one week remaining before ‘Anne’s Night’, a few reminders! It is being held at the Harrison Family’s Double H Farm in Ridgefield, CT, on Saturday, September 13, at 7 p.m. and coincides with the American Gold Cup. The proceeds from ‘Anne’s Night’ will help support and continue the work of equestrian and philanthropist Anne Heyman, who tragically passed away this winter following a fall from her horse.

Anne’s Night’ is being held in her honor to support the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village (ASYV), which gives orphaned and at-risk Rwandan youth the education, social supports, health care, and caring relationships that they need to live fulfilling and meaningful lives in the aftermath of the Genocide Against the Tutsi. ASYV cares for 500 kids by providing them with a warm and loving environment where they can live, learn, heal, and dream.

Please support the Village which Anne Heyman founded by attending the event or by bidding on one of the unique auction items! A few of the items which will be presented in a live auction include: 24 seats in the owner’s box to the Justin Timberlake concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on December 14, 2014; an internship at Sam Edelman Shoes; private box seats to all 3 races of the Triple Crown; or two consecutive days of training with two time Olympic gold medalist McLain Ward. There will be great entertainment during the evening: five-time Tony award winner Kelli O’Hara, Grammy Award nominated Sophie B Hawkins, and the Max Weinberg Band with vocalist Curtis King. Limited tickets are still available for this nearly sold-out event. Please join us by helping to celebrate Anne Heyman’s life and continue her efforts by supporting the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village – tickets may be purchased by contacting Elissa Held at elissaheldevents@gmail.com, or by finding Sally Slater at the American Gold Cup in the Douglas Elliman booth or calling her at 914 584-0137.
