You’ve heard of 3D printing from newscasters and journalists, astonished at what they’ve witnessed. A machine reminiscent of the Star Trek Replicator, something magical that can create objects out of thin air. It can “print” in plastic, metal, nylon, and over a hundred other materials. But how does it work? It all begins with a digital file. It creates the file by adding material to the object. Some here, some there, and no where it’s not needed. No waste. Very efficient. Now designer Dominik Raskin has come up with a decorative piece that animates any wall of an interior space. The art piece is named Equus (Latin for horse). It is a galloping horse that seems to jump into the room from a different realm. Its wireframe structure makes it very light and therefore easy to hang. total height of installed piece as seen in pictures is 40 cm/ 15.7 inch. Very light and easy to attached to wall with some tape or pin. It is for sale on: CLICK HERE
