Julien Epaillard leaves all competition behind in the 1.50m class of Madrid

Also in Madrid, the curtain falls for the showjumping sport today. The final class was a 1.50m class over two rounds. Six combinations were double clear but the fastest time in the second round came from Julien Epaillard. 

The Frenchman jumped under the saddle Solero MS to a time of 34.33 seconds and was more than a second faster than the British Harry Charles with Aralyn Blue, who took home the silver. The bronze was for Marcus Ehning and Funky Fred. They finished the job in 35.98 seconds. Pieter Devos was fourth with Kannabis van de Bucxtale, Manuel Fernandez Saro and Acoufina Ps completed the top five.
