The first day of the international competition in Madrid is over! The main class consisted of a course over a height of 1.55m with separate jump-off. Six combinations qualified for the jump-off, five of them stayed clear.
The victory was finally for the Frenchman Julien Epaillard with Billabong du Roumois. In the jump-off they stopped the time at 34.22 seconds and were thus only eight hundredths of a second faster than Brazilian Eduardo Pareira de Menezes, who finished second with H5 Chaganus. The bronze was for Ireland thanks to Michael Pender and HHS Calais.
Denis Lynch and GC Chopin's Bushi finished fourth, Pieter Clemens and Hulde G fifth.
