Jumping International de La Baule to host Rolex Grand Prix from 2022 on

For more than 60 years, the editions of the Jumping International de La Baule, the setting for the prestigious CSIO5* in France, have followed one another but have never been the same. And in 2022, this will be particularly the case.

A new course and new ambitions for the La Baule competition, which is looking even bigger to welcome the world's show jumping elite and reconnect with its loyal public after two complicated years due to the health crisis. See you from May 5 to 8, 2022 for a Jumping International de La Baule full of colors.

The Nations Cup will continue to be held in La Baule

For a long time the French stage of the Nations Cup circuit of the International Equestrian Federation, the Jumping International de La Baule will become independent in 2022. However, the Nations Cup, which contributes each year to the success and reputation of the competition, will be maintained on the grass track of the François André stadium. Endowed with 250,000€ in 2022, the famous Nations Cup of La Baule will mark the first highlight of the event (Friday, May 6, 2:00 pm), welcoming 8 teams among the best in the world.

"The Jumping International de La Baule joins the club of legendary competitions that also offer a Nations' Cup, such as the CHIO in Aachen (GER) or the CSIO5* in Rome (ITA) or Knokke (BEL). Our ambition is to offer the best of high level sport to the best international horse and rider couples. The objective is to promote and enhance equestrian sport to the level of the elite present and the expectations of our partners and the public. We would like to thank the FFE for the trust it has placed in us for the past 28 years in the organization of this prestigious team event," explains Pierre de Brissac, president of the Baule competition.
