Today the European Championships driving kicked-off in Aachen. In an interview Belgium's Felix Brasseur stated it will be his last competition ever. After countless national and international successes Brasseur wants to stop his professional career, because of financial reasons. In 2006 Brasseur conquered his second World Games titel in Aachen, this last competition thus has a strong emotional connotation. "I can't find the solution to manage this sport on this level," states Brasseur. "I miss the necessary sponsorships. Certainly as my contract with Domo will end on September 1st." The 63-year-old equestrian is now leading the four horses in ownership of Philippe Dubaere. For Dubaere the news is shocking and unfortunate.
