Over the next four days 93 vaulters from SA, NSW, QLD, ACT, VIC & WA will be Adelaide bound to compete in the National Vaulting Championships. Upon returning home from the World Equestrian Games (WEG) as an Australian Individual Vaulting representative, Zac Singlehurst is ready to compete in front of a home crowd again. “I feel it’s going to be a really good event and it will be good to show everyone how much I have improved since WEG.” Singlehurst described his WEG experience as a great opportunity to see what other competitors are doing internationally. “I enjoyed meeting new people, and catching up with old friends, even though I didn’t do as well as I could have done, it was still an amazing experience,” he said. Singlehurst is looking at going overseas after completing his final year of school this year to gain a broader insight into the international Vaulting scene. The Fassifern Vaulting Team, which represented Australia at WEG in the squad’s event, is also returning to Australian competition this weekend following their WEG outing.
