Darragh Kenny and Eddy Blue top first CSI4* 1.50m Qualifier of Deauville

As the Longines Deauville Classic kicked off, a total of 81 rider-and-horse combinations gathered to the start of the CSI4* Big Tour 1m50 Grand Prix Qualifier in the French city. Darragh Kenny (IRL) took home Thursday's biggest win aboard Eddy Blue

With the son of Eldorado vd Zeshoek, Kenny flawlessly went through the 1m50 high course, which was ridden in a Table A against the clock. Also diving under a total of 65 seconds was France's Kevin Staut (FRA) with Dialou Blue PS (Tailormade Diarado's Boy). Both horses were bred by Gestüt Lewitz (GER) and have Chacco-Blue as their mother's father. Under the saddle Pedro Veniss (BRA) was Nimrod de Muze Imperio Egipcio (Nabab de Reve), who came in third. 

Nicolas Layec (FRA) steered Best of Iscla (Diamant de Semilly) to fourth place followed by compatriot Edward Levy (FRA) and the Kashmir van Schuttershof offspring Lyon van de Plataan (Kashmir van Schuttershof).
