The sports program of the international week at Sentower Park concluded on Thursday evening with the CSI4* 1m50 Grand Prix qualifier. This class, which earned points for the Longines Ranking, was run as Table A against the clock.
Thibault Philippaerts was able to secure victory in front of his own crowd, counting on the BWP stallion Obama de La Liniere (Marius Claudius) from breeder Jeroen Lissens. Alexander Housen also found his way to the podium and took third place with Cayadix Hero Z (Cadence van't Gelutt Z), bred by Luc Henry. The top three was finished by Gregory Cottard who sent Action Bellevue PS (Action-Breaker) to second place.
Dutch rider Sanne Thijssen was also on hand with her Con Quidam RB (Quinar Z) and came seventh. At eight followed Jens Vandenberk on the back of Ma-Belle vh Eegdeken (Cardento 933). Manon Hees had the BWP stallion Picco (Quint vh Maarlo, breeder: Jan Cox) under the saddle and concluded the top ten.
Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann also came to work with Thibeau Spits' former Iron Dames Calvino II De Nyze Z and brought the son of Calvaro F.C. from the stud farm of Danny Nijs clear to fifteenth place.
