First 5* victory of Geneva stays on home soil thanks to Barbara Schnieper

The CSI5* 1,40m Prix Radio Lac was the opening class of Thursday's program of the CHI Geneva. The victory remained on home soil and went to Barbara Schnieper.

With Judy KM (Joly St Hubert), the Swiss rider was almost a second faster than Stephan De Freitas Barcha (BRA) with Dirka Imperio Egipcio (Very Berlin de Castel). Finishing the top three was Italy's Giulia Martinengo Marquet with 9-year-old Captain Morgan Weering Z (Carrera VDL). 

Olivier Perreau (FRA) was the first to clear the course in less than 54 seconds but had to settle for fourth place with GL Events Dolce Deceuninck (Toulon). On five was Denis Lynch (IRL) aboard the nine years old King Blue (Dallas).
