Only one hundredths of a second difference kept Matthew Sampson (GBR) and the nine years old Rosthwaite Cover Girl (Caracas) in third place.
Natalie Dean (USA) secured herself fourth place with Crescendo MB Z (Clinton), finishing in 41,03s. With a time of 41,17s, Ireland's Denis Lynch came in fifth with the stallion by Casall, Cordial.
