The 14-year-old Zangersheide mare was sent clear through the 1m45 jump-off by Margaux Rocuet (FRA), where a total of 13 combinations competed. About a third of a second difference allowed Robin Lesqueren (FRA) to settle for second place ahead of Giorgio d'Ellipse, an 8-year-old Prestigio LS son. Bronze was won by Nicolas Layec and the Diamant de Semilly stallion Best of Iscla.

The top five was further completed by Irish combinations. For example, Billy Twomey in the saddle of Diego del Caribe (Kannan) scored fourth place ahead of compatriot Mark McAuley and 9-year-old Fury Nocturne (Volnay du Boisdeville).

The 9-year-old Prince van't Eigenlo, a BWP horse by Vigo d'Arsouilles out of the breeding of Dany and Kim Van Lombergen - Van Laenen finished seventh under Roger Yves Bost and was the last double clear combination. Within the top ten we saw the Kashmir van Schuttershof stallion Lyon van de Plataan from breeders Meskens - Rooms back at nine with Edward Levy.
