The curtain has now officially fallen on Jumping Mechelen 2025! The very last class was just held in the Nekkerhal. The World Cup Driving was decided in an incredibly exciting drive-off. Dries Degrieck secured a hat-trick for Belgium thanks to another win for the home country, in addition to wins in dressage and show jumping earlier.
The victory went to Dries Degrieck. The Belgian set the fastest winning time of 143.13 seconds, with a net time of 139.13 seconds, making the difference in the drive-off.
Bram Chardon followed in second place with 154.84 seconds, securing his place at the top but unable to beat Degrieck. Jérôme Voutaz drove to third place with 168.21 seconds, with 148.21 seconds as his net time, holding his own in the battle for the podium.
Just outside the top three, Koos de Ronde finished fourth. He clocked 153.56 seconds, with a net time of 149.56 seconds, and thus remained in the prizes. Glenn Geerts completed the top five as the second Belgian in the results, with a time of 158.46 seconds and a net time of 154.46 seconds, securing his place in the top five.
