Last weekend Warwickshire was the stage for the British Championships for dressage. It was clear the battle would be between Carl Hester and his pupil Charlotte Dujardin. In the end Hester claimed the British title for the 65st time, this time aboard Wanadoo. On Saturday Carl Hester was already in the lead with only one percent difference on Olympic Champion Charlotte Dujardin. With the Wolkenstein II-son, Hester collected a total of 72.94%. Dujardin was present with the 10-year-old Barolo (by Breitling W). The combination concluded their Grand Prix with a total of 71.88%.Gill Davison and Alfranco completed the stage with 10.16%. The Championships continued on Sunday with the Kür on Music. Yet again victory was for Hester and the 15-year-old Wanadoo. The pair got awarded with 79.78%. Again Dujardin had to settle as runner-up. This time with 77.20%. Third place went to Hayley Watson-Greaves and WG Rubins Nite with a total of 76.33%.
