Taking place alongside the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses, the autumn stallion licensing of Studbook Zangersheide is also underway. Today, the selection committee assessed 31 three-year-old stallions during free jumping, with 19 of them being invited to the second round.
After the stallions were assessed for conformation on Thursday, they were able to showcase their qualities in free jumping in the indoor arena today. The committee, consisting of Eric Levallois, Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking and Stijn Van Campenhout, selected 19 stallions to continue in the licensing process. Among them are four sons of Aganix du Seigneur Z and two sons of Ermitage Kalone.
These 19 selected stallions will once again demonstrate their talent during free jumping on Saturday, September 19, from 11:00 AM, after which it will be announced which stallions will be awarded the highly coveted Zangersheide breeding license.
