Kim Emmen secured a fantastic victory in Lanaken! At Zangersheide, the Dutch rider claimed the FEI Zangersheide Sires of the World title. In the 1.50m class for approved stallions, Emmen jumped clear in both the first round and the jump-off with Kaiser DMH.
Kim Emmen and the eleven-year-old Kaiser DMH (Cardento) produced another faultless round in the jump-off, stopping the clock at 40.94 seconds. That was enough for victory ahead of Mykola Pylypeiko with Money Time (Million Dollar), who also jumped clear in 41.70 seconds. Egor Shchibrik completed the podium with Crack HV (Cornet Obolensky) in 42.43 seconds.
Fourth place went to Omar Abdul Aziz Al Marzooqi with Chacco Bay (Chaccato). They picked up four faults in the jump-off but held on to fourth place with a time of 39.37 seconds. Lars Kuster finished fifth with Don Tarpania Z (Dominator 2000 Z), also with four faults in the jump-off.
Wilma McMahon finished sixth with AJ Bachelor Z (Bamako de Muze). Anthony Wellens also secured a place in the top seven for Belgium with Razzia de Regor (Gino H). Both combinations had four faults in the jump-off, with times of 42.66 and 42.83 seconds respectively.
