Sarena (Calvaro Z) has an impressive track record. Together with Pius Schwizer, this mare jumped to third place in the World Cup in Helsinki at the age of eight. She then went on to win the Rolex Grand Prix in Wellington with Ben Maher.

Sarena competed with great success in 5* Grand Prix, 5* LGCT/GCL and Nation Cups. Her French dam line has produced many Grand Prix horses, including Ideo du Thot, ridden by Beat Mändli.

Sarena, alias Sixtine de Vains, is also showing her qualities in breeding. Her son Celtic VDL was one of the Premium stallions at the 2025 KWPN stallion inspection. Pardino VDL was approved by Zangersheide. Her granddaughter Garance de Vains won the silver medal at the 2023 World Championships for 6-year-old horses in Lanaken, after being sold to the US.

Another successful offspring was an embryo from the combination of Point Break and Dzara Dorchival.

Dzara Dorchival was very successful at the biggest CSI5* venues. She won the GCT/GCL in London, La Coruña, Stockholm and St. Tropez, came second in the GCT/GCL in Monte Carlo and achieved many placings in World Cups with Henrik von Eckermann.

The successful Grand Prix stallion Point Break, winner of the 1.60 m Grand Prix in Aachen, Wellington, Lyon and GCT/GCLs, has jumped for more than £1.6 million in prize money with Ben Maher to date.

The embryo went under the hammer for €38,000.
