The FEI has announced that it will organize a forum with various stakeholders. The aim is to establish a targeted policy regarding tack and equipment in show jumping.
“As part of the FEI’s ongoing efforts to ensure our sport remains responsive, consistent and forward-looking, a dedicated Stakeholders Forum on tack, equipment and their future regulation at FEI Competitions will be held in October 2025, at FEI Headquarters in Lausanne (SUI),” the FEI stated in a press release.
The goal is to work together with riders, officials, grooms, FEI members and experts to shape the future of the sport.
“The objective is to discuss how tack and equipment should be regulated in the future, taking into account horse welfare, technological developments and the sport’s social licence to operate.”
