A few weeks ago we were visited the Philippaerts family in Oudsbergen, Belgium. Besides attenting some training sessions, we also spoke personally with the head of the family, Ludo Philippaerts, about his career and view on the sport. The many pastures and the beautiful forest behind the family's stables were immediately a wonderful prelude to the tone of the interview, in which the horse man stressed several times that "horses are outdoor animals ..."
