Ahlmann takes home the World Cup victory in Verona

Today the Longines FEI World Cup in Verona, Italy went to former world's number one, Christian Ahlmann. From the 40 horse-and rider combinations only 12 pairs managed to pass on to the jump-off, trying to win a part of the total of 170,000€ in prize money and also the Longines Rankings points. First place went to Chistian Ahlmann aboard Aragon Z finishing in 44.38 seconds. Great Britain followed thanks to Scott Brash, this time mounted on Ursula XII. The pair had to settle for runner ups when they stopped the timers at 44.47 seconds. Third place was taken by Luca Maria Moneta from Italy and Neptune Brecourt in a time of 44.93 seconds.
