In St Peterusburg, Russia, the CSI3* Grand Prix was won by Andis Varna and KS Coradina (Corlensky G x Cardento ZV) representing Latvia. With a double clear round he beat runners-up Alexandr Belekhov and Bivaldi (Cantos x Lennard) by 2,27 seconds. Varna and Belekhov were the only riders producing a double clear round. The third combination to take part of the jump-off was Natalia Simonia and Klen (Kwazimodo x Libertas) ending third with four faults. Mikalai Karpovich and Kapnobny BLR Kardinal made 'mother Russia' proud, finishing in a fourth place. Germany completed the top five thanks to Danielius Gutkauskas and Tom Riddle S. Only the top 3 succeeded in securing the jump-off. From the 24 starters no less then 11 had to give up along the way in this 1.60m Grand Prix.
