Autumn MET: American victory in main class

In Oliva, the last class of the day was a 'two phases special' class with fences built up to 1,40m. 63 combinations entered the show ring, but eventually it was America who took home the victory. The American lady rider Julie Welles jumped a fast, clear second phase in 30,97 seconds. This was enough for her and Carmen to end on first place. Second place went to France. Harold Boisset and Tara de Bacon left the wood untouched and finished in 31,16 seconds. Italy completed the top three. Riccardo Pisani and Freedom Van'T Heike jumped a clear round in 31,98 seconds, just enough for a place on the podium. Hans-Jörn Ottens ended on fourth place with Cash. This German combination jumped a clear round in 32,31 seconds. Richard Barton and Donata completed the top five. Click here for the results
