Brenner leaves all competition speechless in Linz-Ebelsberg

In Linz-Ebelsberg, a CSI2* competition is being organized this weekend. Today several 2-star classes were scheduled. The highlight of today was a 1,40m class. 26 combinations battled it out against each other and against the clock. Eventually it was the German rider Andreas Brenner who took home the victory. He and Cronos 17 (Cornado) jumped a clear round in 62,13 seconds. With this time, he was a very clear winner. No other combination came even close to Brenners time. Second place went to Isabel Roman-Karajan and Jerry Lee P (Junior Des Pommes). They jumped a clear round in 68,83 seconds. Sascha Braun and Contador 20 (Contender) completed the top three. They left the wood untouched and finished in 70,49 seconds. Will Fisher ended on fourth place with Colmar 2 (Cassini II). Helmut Morbitzer and Colour Line 2 (Cefalo) took account of the fifth place. Earlier today, a 1,35m class was scheduled as well. In this class against the clock, it was Alena Gasperl who took home the victory. She and her gelding Chaplin 96 (Cornado) jumped a clear round in 66,54 seconds. Markus Heim and Cyranthus (Cancara) ended on second place. They left the wood untouched and finished in 67;44 seconds. Nicole Rieger completed the podium. She roder her 14-year old Ramiro's Boy (Ramiro) to the finish line in 69,21 seconds.
