CSI Gorla Minore: Ciriesi keeps the victory in Italy

In Italy, the 2-star riders are competing in Gorla Minore this weekend. The highlight of the evening was the 1,40m Grand Prix qualifier. This class was ridden in two phases and 92 combinations entered the show ring. Eventually it was the Italian Francesca Ciriesi who kept the victory in Italy. She rode a clear second phase with Alina 342 and finished in 24,64 seconds. Niklaus Rutschi ended on second place with Pipilotta. This Swiss combination jumped a clear round in 25,04 seconds. Manuel Eugster completed the podium. He and his 13-year old Wervel left the wood untouched and finished in 25,66 seconds. Ludija Grum (LG Balladora) and Annina Züger (Louis 162) completed the top five. Besides the 1,40m class, a 1,35m competition was ridden as well. The riders battled it out against each other and against the clock. Marcel Wolf was the fastest with Hautain Van T Paradijs. He rode a clear round in 59,35 seconds. With this time, he was only a bit faster than Natale Chiaduani who ended on second place with Baldobes. This combination jumped a clear round in 59,64 seconds. Manuel Eugster and Callisto completed the podium. The rest of the top five colored all in the Swiss colors. Melanie Mändli and Samira 368 ended on fourth place.
