Chloe Aston triumphs in MET Oliva

The traditonal 'MET' (Mediterranean Equestrian Tour) in Oliva, Spain, kicked off this week with some nice rounds for Young Horses. In today's final class for 5-year-old horses it was Anthony Condon who claimed victory aboard Zira II (by Dance van Koekshof). Constant Van Paesschen and Verdi Treize followed on a second place. Both horse-rider combinations were the only who finished faultless. The stage with the six year old horses turned out to be an international one. Andrius Petrova and Davino O (by Vingino). Mexican Santiago Lambre followed in a second place. Together with Dalvinos (by Calvinos) he finished clear in 66,15 seconds. British Chloe Aston completed the stage with Damary NB (by Wittinger VDL. The pair left the wood untouched in 69,26 seconds. In total 7 combinations made the finish clear. Aston ended third but did even better on the back of her seven year old Chevejo NNB (by Vittorio). A clear round in 68,54 seconds made a difference of about 0,5 seconds with runner-up Luciano Segovia and Cavallo (by Whitesnake). Santiago Lambre (Coteus) ended third after a clear round in 71,05 seconds.
